Glock 43X (top) and Glock 48
There is good reason to believe (based on info from
GlockStore) that Glock is preparing to discontinue ALL of their current
production pistols except 43, 43X and 48X. These are single-stack
(lower capacity) pistols with different physical dimensions than the
rest of their current pistols and are very popular with private
citizens, especially those that hold CCW permits in capacity restricted
states. They do not fit the "Glock switches" currently available on the
under-the-counter market. This move is scheduled (allegedly) for next
month.
Glock corporate has neither confirmed nor denied the report.
Sales
of Glock pistols in the retail pipeline shot up massively in CA when
the Glock ban, effective 07-01-26, was enacted a couple of weeks ago.
It is being challenged in court.

I wonder how many criminals carry limited capacity magazines. I just looked up a new Glock Mod. 22 .40 on GT Distributors and can purchase a new LE/MIL price of $398. No restrictions. No price increases found or announcements.
