The day after Thanksgiving there
was a serious shots-fired incident at the Westfield Valley Fair
shopping mall in San Jose, CA. It ended up with three people shot,
including a 17-year old girl who was apparently collateral damage.
The
cops have just arrested a 17-year old male as the suspect in the
shooting. It was (big surprise) a gang oriented shooting. The suspect
was in fact out on probation for gun charges (deferred judgement) at the
time of the shooting. A 21-year old woman, who was at the time
accompanying the shooter and was pushing a crumb snatcher in a baby
stroller, is likely to be arrested as an accessory for helping the
shooter escape from the scene.
Two adults, a man and a woman, were also wounded in the shooting. They have already been released from the hospital.
