'FAMILY VALUES' PARTY ???

The Republican Party likes to bill itself as the party of ‘family values.’ The Republican National Committee has approved some eyebrow-raising expenditures on luxury hotels and private jets. Most notable was an entertainment expense of $1,946.25 at Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex.

As David Letterman quipped: NOW THERE’S A STIMULUS PACKAGE.

Almost $2,000 spent for entertainment at a topless club featuring some hot chicks simulating lesbian S&M sex acts? Simulated S&M sex entertainment for the party of family values? What a bunch of phonies!

Now you can see why I’m not a Republican. And because the Democrats are just as phony, I’m not a Democrat either. A plague on both their parties. What we need in this country is a real viable third party, and I don’t mean the Tea Party either.

I've attended three tea party ralleys in three states, including the last one in Nevada. At every single one of them, we observed no violence, no hostility, no dope or alcohol, and, believe it or not, no damage to property or even any litter or trash left behind by participants. People we observed were courterous and friendly.

While it is not a political party, those who speak and attend do have a conservative ideaology and and a work ethic, both of which I espouse and admire.

Perhaps before forming an opinion based entirely on smear articles printed by the biased and corrupt main stream media, you should attend one of these ralleys yourself.

They don't have all the answers and they don't agree with everything I believe in either, but they are, at this point, far better than what the two established aristocratic parties have to offer.

Centurion, I do not disagree with anything you say, but the Tea Party will be no more viable than the Libertarians or Ross Perot's party back when.
