For the past ten years, supermodel Naomi Campbell has physically battered five or six of her personal employees, spending only one day in jail for her crimes. The latest attack just occurred when she struck her chauffeur repeatedly in the back of his head, allegedly because he was covering up for her boyfriend cheating on her. The authorities do not plan to file any charges against Campbell because the chauffeur did not want to file a complaint.
When is enough is enough? The authorities can still prosecute a perpetrator of an assault even when the victim of does not want to file a complaint. If Campbell were a plain-Jane instead of a celebrity, she would likely still be doing jail time for the last assault she committed before she whacked her driver in the head.

Ya but if Campbell won't testify to wrongdoing, there may not be a prosecutable case.
