ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON Muslim and Christian terrorists

This morning, my fellow volunteers at the Nature Center were discussing Faisal Shahzad, the inept wannabee Times Square bomber. When I mentioned that he was obviously part of a Muslim terrorist conspiracy, two politically-correct liberal volunteers admonished me for linking Muslims to terrorists. They pointed out that Shahzad was no different than Timothy McVey, the Oklahoma City bomber. They said that if I was going to refer to Shahzad as a ‘Muslim terrorist’ I would have to refer to McVey as a ‘Christian terrorist.’ My arguments to the contrary fell on deaf ears.

Well, I’ve got news for them. There is absolutely no comparison between Shahzad and McVey. There is a world of difference between a small group of malcontents who are pissed off at our government for whatever reason and millions of Muslims who follow an ideology that calls for forced conversions or ‘death to the infidels’ and who see the United States as ‘The Great Satan.’

It is true that McVey and those who think like him are terrorists, but they are not terrorists because they are Christians. On the other hand, Shahzad, Maj. Nidal Hassan, the shoe and underwear bombers and the 9/11 terrorists are terrorists because THEY ARE MUSLIMS. Of course, this is NOT to say that all Muslims are terrorists.

One of the volunteers mentioned that some years ago when he lived in Pennsylvania, he worked with a number of Muslims and they all seemed like regular ‘Joes’. No doubt about it. But that was when most Muslims in this country enjoyed the good life of middle class Americans. While adhering to their faith, they did not follow the practices or teachings of fundamentalist Muslims, much like the Reform Jews who do not follow the practices of Orthodox Jews.. Today, many Muslims in this country are poor immigrants who follow the teachings of fundamentalist sects like the puritanical Wahhabis of the Saudi royal family.

The true believers in Islam adhere to a literal interpretation of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the Quran. Muhammad called on the faithful to take up arms and to conquer the world. He called for death to the infidels who would not submit to forced conversions. Wahhabism holds that even Muslims who deviate in any way from the puritanical practice of Islam are Kafir (infidels).

The Saudis are funding a significant number of mosques and madrassahs in the United States. In the Saudi funded madrassahs, Wahhabi Imams teach young students hatred of the West and western culture. They teach hatred of Christians and Jews, equating Christians to swine and Jews to apes and dogs. The Imams even teach hatred of the Shiite Muslims. In Saudi funded mosques, preachers call on the faithful to take up arms against the West and the Great Satan. Martyrdom, a euphemism for suicide bombings, in the cause of Islam is a regular staple of Imam sermons.

Americans should be alarmed by the fact that in Detroit alone, some 300,000 Muslims now make up a third of that city’s population. There are numerous Saudi funded mosques and madrassahs of the Wahhabi sect in Detroit. Saudi funded mosques and religious schools all over America are breeding grounds for Islamic terrorists.

Every time a Shahzad or a Hassan gets busted, we are told that the authorities are searching for a motive. Everyone from the president on down cautions us not to jump to any conclusions. While it is true that a lot of people get their mental exercise by jumping to conclusions, this one is a no-brainer! These Muslims are terrorists pure and simple. They are soldiers who have been recruited for the jihad against the West. But because we live in an atmosphere of political correctness we cannot bring ourselves to say so for fear of offending the Muslims in our midst.

Should we be concerned about homegrown political terrorists like Timothy McVey? You bet we should! But we should be much more alarmed about religious terrorists. While not all Muslims are terrorists, almost all terrorists are Muslims. It may not be politically correct to say so, but that's stating a fact!
