Tales from Charles Dickens? Not exactly. These stories are about two heartwarming modern day characters. One finally saw the light, the other opted to leave his child behind.
TWO HEARTWARMING CHRISTMAS STORIES

According to the California Highway Patrol, Raul Garcia Jr, 20, was “tagging” (vandalizing) some public property along with two accomplices at about 4:00 a.m. on the 710 Freeway in Compton when he finally saw the light.
The light was supplied by the headlights of the two cars that nailed his ass as he and his buddies ran across the freeway. He was hit by one car, which knocked him across the lane in front of another car. The first car stopped, the second did not.
I suspect the gene pool in the area just improved by a couple of notches. It’s a steep price to pay, but ……..
Locally, in the beautiful city of Stockton, Dominick Chavis, 25, was busy shoplifting in the company of his 6-year old son in the K-Mart on Mariposa Road. He tried to boost a couple of game controllers and was stopped by store employees. He pulled a toad sticker, tried to cut the employees, and then fled, leaving his son behind.
The cops tracked him to a vacant apartment nearby. He jumped out the rear window, where more cops were waiting. Chavis is being held against a $128,000 bail. I have no information on the disposition of the rugrat. It would be a shame to land in foster care this close to Christmas, but it would also be a shame to stay with this dickhead father.
Ho Ho Ho.
