NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES

Thieves have sunk to a new low when they resort to robbing a fellow robber. It must be due to the economic hard times we have been experiencing.

A Stockton stick-up man was shot and robbed of his gun and recent robbery proceeds yesterday.
Ray Michael Gowan, 33, had just stuck up a liquor store at gunpoint on Bianchi Road when he found the tables turned shortly after 4 pm. A group of men approached him, shot him in the foot and relieved him of his shotgun and the money he had just stolen.

The local constabulary found Gowan near the railroad tracks nearby and arrested his happy ass.

The cops also arrested a group of men who were found nearby. They were all armed and were arrested on weapons charges. It is not clear at this point that they were in fact the ones who shot and robbed Gowan.
