SQUASHED LIKE A BUG

This guy was right if he thought the police would not have tried to shoot him while he was dodging freeway traffic. But he failed to consider that he would become road kill in the process.

A fleeing murder suspect was turned into a grease spot on I-5 saving the state a ton of money but inconveniencing thousands during the morning commute.

The suspect was being followed by a Santa Rosa unmarked car as he was a suspect in a murder in their jurisdiction. Santa Rosa called Stockton for assistance in the stop. He was stopped near March Lane and bailed out, ran partly across the freeway and got squashed like a bug. There is some speculation that he might have deliberately stepped into traffic as the cops would not shoot him.
