Mark Oberholtzer of Texas City, Texas sold an old pick-up truck from his plumbing business to the local Ford Dealer back in 2013. As he started to remove his company logo from the truck the dealer’s people told him not to bother, they would do it for him. He has sold at least ten used-up work trucks in similar fashion with no problem. So far, so good.
The truck, with the Mark-I Plumbing decal and phone number still clearly visible, somehow ended up in Syria with an ISIS light artillery piece mounted in the bed, which then ended up on video footage which got international play. It appeared, among other places, on the Colbert Report.
Oberholtzer started getting very nasty phone calls from people and he is pissed.
Oberholtzer had to shut his business down temporarily. He is suing AutoNation Ford for $1 million.

OK. I get it. At first it was a shocker. Now, it looks like a lot of free advertisement.
Not when people are calling you up to threaten you it's not.
