STUDENTS AT TEXAS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SHIELDED FROM ANY SIGNS OF VIOLENCE

7th grader Colton Southern was banned from wearing his Star Wars t-shirt at Rosenberg’s George Junior High School

Colton Southern, a 7th grader at George Junior High School in Rosenberg, Texas, has a t-shirt with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens logo on it. He’s worn the shirt to school on several occasions but on Thursday school administrators ordered Colton to cover up the shirt because it had a Star Wars weapon depicted on it.

Colton’s father was incensed, calling the order “political correctness run amok.”

School officials, however, pointed to the school hand book in which it is a dress code violation to wear “symbols oriented toward violence.”

According to school administrators, Colton was treated rather well because they could have given the little terrorist an in-school suspension or sent him off to an alternative school.

I am sure that the George Junior High School students will feel and be safer now that they won’t be exposed to the horrible sight of that Star Wars weapon.

Thus the public school system continues to plunge further down into the abyss of political correctness.
