Criminal charges were filed yesterday against three public officials in the scandal of the Flint, Michigan water switchover.
Michael Glasgow, a Flint city employee and Michael Prysby and Stephen Busch, both Michigan Dept of Environmental Quality employees, are facing charges of tampering with evidence, conspiracy, and other various nastiness. Glasgow is also charged with willful neglect of office.
The men are accused, among other things, of altering test results to indicate the water in Flint was not nearly as poisonous as it actually is.
It will be interesting to see if this is going to be an honest attempt to find out what was going on and prosecute bad guys or if it will turn out to be a modest witch hunt which will throw a couple of small fish to the wolves and let the big boys walk away unscathed.
