Adam Powell, 41, attempted to murder two Vallejo, CA. PD officers yesterday. He was unsuccessful, thanks largely to luck.
Powell walked into a Starbucks near Lincoln Road and Pine Street just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday with an "assault rifle" fitted with a drum magazine. He opened the door and attempted to shoot the officers. His weapon jammed.
The cops chased him as he fled, attempting to clear his weapon on the way. At some point the cops opened fire on him and wounded him. He was found to be wearing body armor and also carrying a hand gun. He is in the hospital and is likely to survive his wounds. He is also suspected in a shooting in nearby Suisun City.
As Powell is Black and never actually fired a shot (not for lack of trying) it is unclear of what action the BLM thugs may take or attempt to take in this matter.
