FIRE THE STATE AND JUSTICE DISSENTERS

Employees of the State Department and the Department of Justice who oppose the policies of the President should resign or be fired

Using the department’s Dissent Channel, more than 900 State Department employees, including senior officials, signed a letter expressing disagreement with President Trump’s executive order on immigration.

The State Department’s Foreign Affairs Manual prohibits reprisal or disciplinary action against anyone who uses the Dissent Channel. The manual states that “Officers or employees found to have engaged in retaliation or reprisal against Dissent Channel users, or to have divulged to unauthorized personnel the source or contents of Dissent Channel messages, will be subject to disciplinary action.”

Fine! But that order prohibits only retaliation or discipline meted out within the State Department. It does not, nor can it, prohibit retaliatory measures taken by the Office of the President.

Employees of the Justice Department have also expressed their opposition to Trump’s executive order on immigration. Sally Yates, the acting Attorney General, went so far as to say that Trumps executive order was “unlawful” and that the department should not defend Trump’s immigration ban. Yates, a holdover from the Obama administration, was promptly fired by Trump, as she should have been.

I believe that any State Department and Department of Justice employee who opposes the president’s policies should either resign or be fired. Those who oppose their boss’ policies should find employment elsewhere. Adios dickheads and good riddance!

I agree. Let them leave. Let them go fuck themselves. Let them go fuck each other. Sometimes I think both State and Justice is one big circle jerk anyway. If they don't like the job that's cool, McDonalds is almost always hiring.
