Katherine Nieves-Tavarez, 27, is a denizen of Vero Beach, Florida. The local constabulary responded to her crib about 3:30 a.m. a week ago in response to a complaint. When she answered the door she had a fair amount of blood on her. Her boyfriend was on the floor, also covered in blood.
It seems that she wanted to have sex and the boyfriend declined. She does not take rejection well. She claimed he attacked her but the physical evidence did not support her.
She is now a guest of the people pending $15,000 bail. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Halloween.
Her lawyer Is Freddie Kruger. (I just made this last bit up.)
