Way back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth (1996) JonBenet Ramsey was murdered in the Colorado home she shared with her brother and parents. The murder has never been solved.
Her brother, Burke Ramsey, filed a $750 million lawsuit against CBS in 2016 alleging defamation for strongly implying that he murdered his little sister. The local D.A. eventually cleared the family in the death.
The suit has just been dismissed following an undisclosed "amicable settlement" of the matter. CBS has declined to comment.
