DUSTING OFF THE MAGIC EIGHT BALL

by Bob Walsh

Xavier Becerra is the Attorney General of the formerly great state of California. He is a hard-core leftie. His main claim to fame is that he has filed 58 lawsuits against the Trump administration. He is very pro-illegal alien, pro-criminal and anti-cop.

It is 1030 a.m. on Tuesday as I type this. In one-half hour he is supposed to make a statement regarding whether or not the state will prosecute the two cops that shot and killed drug-crazed criminal Stephon Clark in Sacatomato last year since the county has elected to NOT prosecute.

I am therefore going to offer a prediction. The A.G. will whine, cry, wring his hands and admit that, under the current law, he regretably can not prosecute those racist bastard cops because they did not break any law. I will finish the post up in about a half hour and see if my prediction is in the ballpark of accurate.

Noon update: Nailed it.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I watched Becerra make his announcement that his office would not take any action against the cops. He did not "whine, cry or wring his hands" in doing so, but instead gave a simple matter of fact statement that Clark was committing a crime, failed to obey the officers' commands and turned on them before he was shot. You may have nailed it, but you got it wrong on how he would do it.

I'm just glad for the cops. I don't care if he announced it with mega-phone!

Not to be difficult Howie, but I got a very different feel than you did from Becerra's speech.

You are not being difficult, my friend, but with my failing eyesight and hearing loss, I did not think Becerra was whining, crying or wringing his hands.
