It isn't even close to the record, but it does rate an honorable mention. At around midnight on Thursday night three people were sitting in a parked car near F St. and Finland Avenue in a residential area of east Stockton. Somebody came up behind the car and started blasting.
The dead, one female and two males, were all young adults, age 18 and 19. At least one of the victims was known to be gang involved and had recently been arrested in a carjacking.
That is the problem with hanging out with gang members. If you walk like a duck, talking like a duck, look like a duck and hang out with known and notorious ducks your ass is in some danger when duck season opens, whether you personally are a duck or not.
The cops don't think it was a random shooting. Massive surprise there. (Not.)

From what I hd read, crime had been easing up in Stockton. Sad situation.
