Traditionally presidents have been reluctant to appoint federal judges in districts without the approval of the senators in the state where that district is home based. That being said, Donald Trump does not give a rat's ass what DiFi and Kamala think about his appointees to the Ninth Circuit, which is a nest of liberal asswipes and psychopaths.
Trump has appointed Kenneth Lee to a vacant spot in the 9th. DiFi and Kamala have been whining and sniveling to anybody who would give them the time of day in an effort to spike the nomination. Looks like it isn't going to work. It isn't in the bag yet, the vote has not been taken. It does, however, look good for strict constructionists and bad for liberal activist asswipes.
