SHERIFF MURDERED OVER LOUD RADIO

by Bob Walsh

Big John Williams was the Sheriff of Lowndes County, Alabama. He was murdered Saturday evening at the gas pumps at a convenience store. He walked up to a car at the pumps that had the radio blasting and asked the occupant(s) to turn the music down. He was shot in the head and died.

The cops took William Chase Johnson into custody around midnight. Interestingly enough he survived being taken into custody. He walked back to the scene of the shooting, holding a firearm in his hand, and was arrested. Johnson was taken to jail in neighboring Elmore County.

Johnson is being held without bond on a murder charge.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Johnson is the son of a Montgomery County sheriff's deputy.

RIP, Sheriff Williams.

Considering the totally unreasonable anger involved in the reaction here I can't help but think some sort of drug induced paranoia was involved.
