TRUMP SAYS HE WELCOMES IMPEACHMENT TRIAL

Is He Right And Does He Mean It? ... Probably Yes On Both

by Bob Walsh

My guess, for what its worth, is that he does mean it. He is tired of being sniped at with what are demonstrably lies from the peanut gallery. There is for all practical purposes zero chance he would be removed from office by the senate, but in that forum he believes (maybe correctly) that he will be able to bring a LOT of stuff into the record that is not there now.

Did Adam Schiff orchestrate "the whistleblower" complaint? Probably yes.

Schiff said on the record numerous times he had absolute proof that Trump colluded with the Russians. He has never put that proof up, at least in public. Maybe it is time the public saw this proof. (If it exists, which it probably doesn't.)

Did the Obama administration start the ball rolling on a politically motivated investigation of a political opponent with faked material? It looks like maybe they did.

Did various members of the permanent bureaucracy and intelligence community, aka The Deep State, act as individuals, and maybe collude as a group, against Trump both before and after his election? It is starting to look like that is maybe-probably true. Getting it on the record would be nice.

Will an impeachment trial throw a monkey wrench into the Democrat nomination run? Hell yes. Won't that be fun to watch.

Will the soon-to-be-released Horowitz 2.0 report shed some light on the subject and throw at least some mud on the Democrats and the Deep State? Maybe-probably yes. It will at least make the anti-Trump psychos look more demented than they already do.

Will the Durham criminal investigation throw some major excrement into the air circulation device? I am putting a strong probably on that one. That is, however, still at least weeks and maybe months down the road.

Will an actual Impeachment trial move the middle 20-25% closer to Trump or further away from Trump? My guess, for what my guess is worth to you, is that Trump will come off as an aggrieved party being attacked by power hungry and personally greedy trolls and thugs. It will help him probably and at worst be neutral, plus make some of the Democrats look like the clowns and thieves they really are. It may also serve to solidify the Democrat base even further to the lunatic left wing, turning the 2020 election into Dukakis revisited.

Bread and circuses. LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
