MSNBC's Rachel Maddow urges networks to STOP airing Trump's coronavirus press conferences because of the 'misinformation' and blasts his 'fairytale' promises about malaria drug to combat pandemic

'I know we ought to be getting used to this kind of thing by now, but I'm not,' Maddow said on her show Friday night. 'President Trump today, again, just flat-out wrong in public about this malaria drug that has gotten stuck in his mind, quite some distance from the facts.'
Maddow was referring to Trump's sweeping claims about a malaria drug called hydroxychloroquine, which is being investigated as a potential treatment for coronavirus patients. While Trump has boasted that the drug is 'very powerful' and 'could be a game changer,' the government's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, made clear on Friday that there is not enough evidence yet to show that it is effective.
EDITOR’S NOTE: MSNBC is far more anti-Trump than CNN, with Trump-hating talk show hosts like Mad Maddow, Al Sharpton, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough. The problem is that Trump’s tweets and his gaffes during press conferences feed their hunger for Trump-scorching.

"Could Be" is the operative phrase there. I saw Trump on the tube when he said it. Was he maybe unduly positive? Yes. That being said he could very well be right. He could also be wrong. He acknowledged that also.
