Yes, it is true. The legislature of the formerly great state of California has taken itself out of session in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. Mostly because they can not go to restaurants and bars to collect bribes from lobbyists, so they might as well stay home and collect bribes. That being said the rights of Californians will be safe, for a few weeks at least.
