Two housing units in San Quentin are on lockdown due to POSSIBLE Covid-19 issues.
The whole state system shut down routine visiting due to the bug. This is a very big deal because the prisoners rights and family groups have an unusual amount of pull in the formerly great state of CA and the state kisses their asses big time.
There are also various news reports of local jails across the country going to some lengths to cut down the number of prisoners to lessen the impact when / if the bug hits them.
We are in for a 2-3 month bumpy ride.

I would hate to work in a prison/jail now.
If you were single it would not be too bad. You could earn enough overtime to buy that vacation cabin.
