The
legislature of the formerly great state of California does not like
Governor Newsom's idea of, among other things, cuts in state workers
salary or layoffs of state workers.
Instead
the legislative budget proposal will rely on several billion dollars
that they will pretend they will get via a visit from the money fairy,
so they can pretend they are submitting a balanced budget.
Whether
the money fairy, currently Donald Trump, is going to kick down billions
of dollars to California when the state government has many times told
him to go take a flying fuck at a rolling donut, is IMHO highly
questionable. But it doesn't matter as long as they pretend it will
happen they can sort-of justify believing that it will happen. Stoner
logic.
