George
Floyd wasn't Mother Theresa. He wasn't really a good person. He was a
thief and a doper and a robber who was almost certainly killed by a
Minneapolis cop without any sort of reasonable justification. It looks
like there is at least a fair chance that "the system" is going to deal
appropriately with those involved. Maybe we should let it.
I
am tired of two weeks of "demonstrations." I am tired of two weeks of
fucking riots and thievery. I am tied of listening to self-serving
whores (aka politicians) talk about how we need to defund the police or
end systematic racism or White privilege or sleeping in church or
farting in the subway or whatever the hell is putting a bee under
someone's bonnet. If you have any actual fucking ideas I wouldn't mind
listening to those.
Is
America perfect? No. But we try to get better all the time. Mostly
we succeed. People still risk their lives to come here, many of them in
violation of our laws, so somebody must like it here.
How
does breaking into somebody's store and burning it down or stealing a
car or shooting some poor bastard down in the street make it better for
people like George Floyd? Maybe one of these "protesters" can answer
that for me.

Yesterday I received a private message on FB from a lady I didn't know. They wanted to know what I thought about BLM. I looked up their FB account and could immediately tell it wasn't a real person. So I replied. "The BLM went a too far with the Clive Bundy case in Nevada. BLM also needs to manage our wild horses not slaughter them for dog food." Never heard back from her.
I enjoyed reading this.
