THERE WAS SOME ACTION IN STOCKTON AFTER ALL

by Bob Walsh

According to the local fishwrapper there was a bit of disturbance in the force here and there in Stockton on Sunday.

A modest mob pretending to be "protesters" broke into the Weberstown Mall, just across the street from the Sherwood Mall, on Sunday and did a bit of impromptu looting.  The mall had been closed down prior to the incident.  The cops did respond but the looters beat feet before they got there.  Social media posts invited people to come to the Weberstown Mall to engage in looting.  (Stuff'n is what they call it apparently.)

There was a small disturbance in front of the Costco on Hammer Lane, which was locked up in response.  Delta College, which is right across the street from the malls, was secured.

As one might expect, most of the looters were young males.  Shoes were very popular with looters.
