A lifer murderer was terminally rehabilitated by rifle fire at CSP-Sacramento (New Folsom Prison) on Wednesday.
Paul
Solis, a guest of the state, was attacked by three inmates and stabbed
six times. Tower officers fired some gas and when that didn't work at
least one of them fired for effect. Martinez Pacheco ended up doing the
dirt dance and his two fellow wannabe assassins, Gustavo Reyes and
Angel Torres, are in the bucket awaiting further action.
Three inmate manufactured stabbing weapons were recovered at the scene.
Pacheco,
34, was doing life plus 25 out of LA for murder 1. Reyes, 42, is doing
life + 25 for murder 2 out of LA. Torres, 23, is doing life for murder
1 out of San Berdoo.
Solis, 37, is doing life for murder 1 out of LA.
Everybody and their dog is investigating the shooting.

I can remember a fence break at Wynne Farm in Huntsville. The inmate was being escorted to the typing pool and as the electronic lock buzzed and the door swung out he jumped up on the door knob and over the lower walkway fence. Number 1 picket opened up with a .308 and fired several rounds. Warden Joe came out of the main door and yelled to number 1 picket, "Your fired!" Then threw his Stetson on the ground. The inmate was picked up 3 days later in New Orleans. He got 10 years added to his original 2 to 10 bit.
So, why did he fire the cop? Presumably because he missed.
Yep
