Metal Monolith Found In Utah's Red Rock Country
by Bob Walsh
A
state employee who was carrying out a census of Big Horn Sheep in Utah
discovered a heavy sheet metal monolith very well anchored into the
ground in a canyon in the Red Rock area. There is about 10 feet of the
thing sticking out of the ground.
The
Utah Dept. of Public Safety is considering launching an investigation
into the thing. It clearly isn't hurting anybody and the sheep are
ignoring it, but it seems likely that it violates some law about
building on public property without a permit.
There
are no symbols of any kind on it, and it does not emit an ear-splitting
psychic sound when aligned with the sun and the moon. Yet.

Leave it alone. It's been placed there probably as a piece of art or some spiritual meaning. I remember when the oldest tree in the world was found in Nevada. A state worker killed it so that they could count it's rings and determine it's true age. Stupid.
