I
have no idea how legit this is as it is very early in the game, even
assuming that Biden is eventually President (which I think is likely).
In any case the Washington Free Beacon is asserting that Joe The
Hairsniffer is planning to propose placing existing AR-15 rifles under
the National Firearms Act and requiring that current owners who want to
keep them register them, at a cost of $200 per weapon. Since there are
more than 20 million of them in the country this would raise a fair
chunk of change and would allow the government to track all legally
possessed AR-15 rifles.
Since
he has already announced he wants to BAN them outright this is a
reasonable first step. He finds the guns and gets a buttload of money
in the process.
EDITOR'S NOTE: That is why it is so extremely important that the two US Senate runoffs in Georgia be won by the Republicans. It doesn't look good. The Democrats are pouring tons of money into the two races and many volunteers are coming to Georgia from out of stat to help the Democratic candidates. So far, the Republicans have not come anywhere near matching the Dems in money and volunteers.

Luckily, I've never cared for the AR-15 platform. I'll stick with the Mini-14. I find them to be accurate and easy to maintain especially in stainless steel. It does everything that an AR does yet it's not considered an assault weapon by definition.
If money were the primary election criteria we would have President Elect Bloomberg right now. That being said, LACK of money can be a big deal.
