The
God-Emperor, Gavin Newsom, has declared that San Joaquin County is
moving to the purple tier of plague restrictions. This is the most
restrictive tier. The others are magenta, puce, violet and cyan. This
probably won't be a big deal to me unless it means that my favorite gun
store-range will shut down again. There are others in the area that
take the Second Amendment seriously and stay open as necessary
businesses, but not all. Also the store and range are shut down right
now anyway due to an employee picking up the plague.
It
will, however, also mean that my favorite Mexican restaurant may shut
down again except for takeout and places like Costco may start clocking
intake of customers again to keep the body load down.

Galveston County numbers have increased too. Harris County numbers are off the chart. I received an alert on my iphone yesterday to stay away from large gatherings in Harris County.
