'End of quote': Joe Biden's Ron Burgundy moment goes viral as he reads from teleprompter Joe Biden has been compared to Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell) as he appeared to read from a teleprompter

President Joe Biden seemed to be having a 'Ron Burgundy' moment while he appeared to be reading a speech about gas prices off a teleprompter on Tuesday, November 23. When Biden uttered the words "end of the quote" after mentioning a comment by Walmart's CEO, he was compared to the fictitious newscaster from the film 'Anchorman'.

Biden commented, "And, by the way, you may have heard the CEO of Walmart yesterday on the steps we’ve taken. He said, and I quote, ‘The combination of private enterprise and government working together has been really successful.’ He went on to say, ‘All the way through the supply chain, there’s… a lot of innovation.’ Because of the actions we’ve taken, things have begun to change. End of quote."

Biden made the remark during a speech about rising gas costs and the economy. "I want you to know how grateful I am to serve as your president," he added. "And I promise you that I'll never stop working to address your family's needs. And together we're going to face challenges. We're going to face them honestly. And that we'll keep building this economy around hardworking folks who built this country. Happy Thanksgiving, and may God bless you, and may God protect our troops."

The “End of Quote” incident became a social media comedy and many users were seen expressing their views. One person tweeted, “The greatest charade ever continues -". While another said, "Another person added, “Biden isn't suffering a cognitive decline! It's all a right-wing conspiracy!"

Another tweeter user commented, “I’d soooooo much rather have Burgundy for president than this gaffe machine”. Yet another tweeted, “Biden has lost public confidence. He is now routinely viewed as an inept buffoon. God help America!"

Later, Biden informed the press that he had to go to volunteer at a soup kitchen and that he couldn't take any questions, causing one reporter to yell, "When will you answer our questions?"

The Biden administration has been consistently chastised for the president's lack of control over his communications. Biden's briefing on wildfires with federal and state authorities in Boise, Idaho, was suddenly cut off by the White House in September.

In August, as he was going to answer a reporter's question concerning his administration's military departure date from Afghanistan, the president's audio stream was interrupted. Biden's stream was similarly blocked by the White House in March as well after he indicated he was "glad to accept questions" during a virtual gathering with Democratic senators.

If he is crazy enough to try it it will be vastly amusing to see him run for President in 2024, assuming he still has a pulse at that time. He will not be able to get away with hiding in his basement. He will have to appear in questions and interact with actual reporters (there are still a few left) who will ask him actual questions and who will get testy if he keeps ducking and dodging.

Personally, for what my opinion may be worth to you, is that he is NOT going to run again and KNOWS he is not going to run again, he is just putting this up as a front so he isn't a complete lame duck asshole. The trouble is, by doing so, he is sort of squishing any up and comers who may be interesting in the job and capable of doing it.

Perhaps the Democrat-Socialists will get so completely destroyed in 2022 that his own peeps will tell him that he is past his "sell by" date and he needs to hang up his TelePrompTer.
