The evening news tonight
announced that "several" Republican state Attorney's General were
preparing legal action against the large credit card companies for their
plans to track gun sales.
While
I believe the action by the credit card companies is disgusting and
vile, the Second Amendment is designed to protect the people from
actions by the government, not actions by private companies, even if
that action is taken at the request of certain liberal members of the
government, which apparently this action was.
It will be interest to see how much legal traction, if any, this gets.

The number of states joining in the lawsuit is apparently 23. Or maybe 24.
