If you live in California and
you are bothered by people sending you unsolicited nude photographs
electronically you can now sue them.
The new law allows you to sue for at least $1,500 and in some cases as much as $30,000 if you receive such material.
Virginia and Texas have similar laws. The new law passed to the governor without opposition.
