Gavin Newsom, the God-Emperor of
the formerly great state of California, is going ahead with
state-produced $30 insulin, and is also moving forward to have Naloxone
produced thru the state and sold at very low cost.
The
insulin is being produced by a non-profit drug producer. Presumably
the life-saving opiod rescue drug will become available the same way.
Civica,
an existing drug producer, will make the insulin for the CalRX
prescription label and it will sell for about 10% of the current
cash-pay price. It should be noted the major insulin producers are now,
under pressure, preparing to drastically drop the price of insulin. Or
at least they say they are. Presumably the Naloxone will be produced
under a similar arrangement.
Even Mussolini fixed the potholes.
