A San Francisco Whole Foods store is closing a year after it opened.
A year ago Whole Foods, a major yuppie upscale food
emporium, opened in the Mid-Market St. area of San Francisco amid much
fanfare. They are now getting the fuck out of Dodge.
Faced
with rampant in-your-face thievery and the inability or unwillingness
of the local authorities to protect their property and their employees,
Whole Foods is folding up their cement tent and stealing away into the
night.
I am surprised it
took them that long. For that matter I am surprised they jumped into
that pool at all, but I understand they wanted to virtue signal really
bad. Maybe next time they will just give a $1 million to The Sierra
Club and go to somewhere where it is possible to actually conduct
business in something resembling a civilized fashion. S.F. ain't that.
