A large chunk of western Canada is on fire. About 29,000
people in Alberta have been recently forced form their homes, though
roughly half that number are now on mandatory evacuation as some of the
fires have cranked down The smoke is getting really bad in a lot of
places. As of Friday afternoon there were 94 wildfires known to be
burning in western Canada.
So
far no deaths have been linked directly to the fires though an unknown
number of houses have been destroyed. Some people were forced to
literally run for their lives with only the clothes they were wearing as
flames approached their homes.
The government kicks down some money to those who have been forced out of their houses for seven days or more.
Alberta
is the main energy producing area of Canada. The fires have begun to
significantly reduce output. The greenies are blaming it all on climate
change and Donald Trump.
