A 13-year-old was shot and killed on Friday morning in the 800 block of Flint Avenue in Stockton
This particular bit of stupidity fired up about 0200 on
Friday in the crime-ridden and gang-infested metropolis of Stockton.
The cops got a "tip" about a possible shooting at a house on Flint
Avenue. When they arrived they found a 13-year old boy with a bullet
hole in his body. He was rushed to the hospital where he promptly
died. The cops arrested his 16-year old brother on suspicion of
manslaughter, negligent discharge of a firearm and assorted weapons
possession charges. No names are being released and the cops are not
even sure if the boys were residents of the home, although at 0200 one
would hope that teenagers WERE home. They also don't know if anybody
else was home when the shooting occurred, who owned the gun, if the gun
was properly secured prior to the shooting (obviously not) or much of
anything else for that matter.
