THOUGHTS ON CHANGING THE RULES HALFWAY THRU THE GAME

By Bob Walsh

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine speaks Friday during a news conference in Columbus, Ohio, after vetoing a measure that would have banned gender-affirming care for minors and transgender athletes’ participation in girls and women’s sports.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine

Regular readers will remember I wrote recently about a possible issue for Joe Biden in Ohio.  The Democrat convention will be AFTER the mandatory certification date for the Ohio ballot.  The date isn't exactly a secret.

Today the (Republican) Governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine, announced that he is calling for a special session of the legislature next week with the specific intent of changing the law so that poor old Joe can be on the ballot.

Maybe it's just me but somehow I can't see a Democrat governor doing the same thing to ensure that Donald Trump would be able to get on the ballot.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Like it or not, Gov. DeWine is doing what's right.
