The move to get the recall of Oakland, CA mayor Sheng
Thao on the ballot has been successful. It is even possible her recall
election will run along with the recall of the Alameda County District
Attorney, Pamela Price.
With
luck the citizens and taxpayers of Alameda County in general and
Oakland in particular will be able to get rid of two losers on the same
day.
It isn't wonderful, but it might be a meaningful start.
