POT AND GUNS NOT A GOOD MIX

Houston pothead accidentally kills friend while reloading gun

Jeremiah James Pipkins, 17, was sitting in the rear seat of a parked car in southeast Houston Saturday afternoon. There were three other young men in the car. He pulled out a pistol, unloaded it and showed it to his friends. They passed the gun around among themselves before handing it back to Pipkins. While he was reloading the gun … kapow … it went off with the bullet striking Chazz Jenkins, 27, in the back as he was sitting in the front passenger seat of the car.

Pipkins and the other rear seat passenger beat feet. The driver called for help but Jenkins had croaked by the time paramedics arrived.

The police report that Pipkins had been smoking pot just before the shooting took place.

Pipkins was charged with manslaughter and jailed on $30,000 bail.

OK, let’s hear it again: Pot is less dangerous than alcohol.

Clearly this is the fault of the gun manufacturer for not installing a User Age Sensor module so the gun would know it was being handled by an underage person and would not fire. Also the car manufacturer should be sued for not having bullet resistant seats in the car. Hell, sue EVERYBODY except the lame-ass stoner who actually pulled the trigger, because his sorry ass doesn't have any money.
