PRISON NURSE KILLS HUBBY TO MARRY PRISONER

by Bob Walsh

The powers that be believe that Amy Murray, 40, a prison nurse in Missouri, poisoned her husband with antifreeze so she could marry a prisoner.

Mrs Murray allegedly poisoned husband Joshua, 37, in their home in Iberia, then burned the house down to conceal the crime. She took her child, and her dogs, to McDonald's for dindin and returned to find the house burning. She then called 911.

For some reason the cops were suspicious of her story. When they checked with the Jefferson City Correctional Center they found that she was believed to be involved with an inmate, and they had recorded phone calls indicating that she wanted to divorce her husband and did not want to be around him.

Her boyfriend will not be eligible for parole until 2027. Amy Murray is currently free on $750,000 bail. I wonder where she got the bond money from? Maybe the insurance already paid off on the December 11 death of her husband.

IBERIA, Mo. - Miller County authorities are investigating after a woman is accused of poisoning her husband, then setting their home on fire.

Authorities initially received a call on Dec. 11, 2018, about a house fire on Janice Drive in Iberia, where Joshua Murray's body was found inside the residence.

The Missouri State Fire Marshall and the Miller County Sheriff's Office said the fire was determined to be started by Murray's wife, Amy, after she allegedly poisoned Joshua with antifreeze.

An autopsy showed Murray died of poisoning, and Amy was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Amy allegedly started the fire, then left the home and went to a McDonald's in Osage Beach with her 11-year-old son and dogs. When she returned to the home, she said the house was on fire, and the smoke was too heavy for her to go inside, according to a probable cause statement.

Court documents revealed Amy had worked as a nurse at the Jefferson City Correctional Center and had a romantic relationship with an inmate.

In recorded phone conversations Amy told the inmate, Eugene Claypool, she didn't want to be married to her husband anymore and she could marry Claypool because Joshua was deceased and "out of the picture," the documents said. Claypool previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Amy talked about getting an attorney to get Claypool be released from prison early.

Amy is currently at the Miller County Adult Detention Center on a $750,000 bond.

EDITOR’S NOTE: If I were her attorney, I would have her claim that, rather than murdering her, husband, she was just trying to keep him from freezing in the cold weather and that she accidentally and unintentionally overdosed him with the antifreeze. And my mother always wanted me to be a lawyer.

This woman is so dumb, I'm surprised she mastered breathing. She should make herself an anti-freeze cocktail.

Falling in love with an inmate. Bad idea.
