Dole has just announced a new
fruit. It is a pineapple developed in Honduras. It tastes like Pina
Coladas, with a hint of coconut and more vitamins than a traditional
pineapple. Should be hitting the market soon at about $6 each. They
will be picked ripe so it will make choosing them much easier. They
have a smaller core than a traditional pineapple so there will be more
"food" per unit than an old school pineapple.
Better living thru agronomy.
