HUNTER SHOT TO DEATH ... HE WAS ALLEGEDLY MISTAKEN FOR A SQUIRREL

                                                   A squirrel? 

 

Last week Carson Ryan, 17, of Washington, Iowa, was shot to death by others in his hunting group.  He was shot in the back of the head.  His head was allegedly mistaken by another hunter for a squirrel.  

The shooting is under investigation.  It has been termed an accidental shooting by the Dept. of Natural Resources.  Somehow these two statements seem to be not compatible with each other to me.
