The Phoenix PD got an interesting 911 text a day or two
ago. The man who sent it said that his brother-in-law was holding his
son hostage while armed with a machete. The text was apparently a
successful low-profile call for assistance.
The
cops showed up. The bad guy was a dick. The cops blasted him with a
couple of nerf rounds. No effect. The cops blasted him with a few
not-s-much warm-and-fuzzy rounds from their service pistols.
The dick was NOT killed and was taken into custody. The crumb-snatcher is OK. The dick is facing a lot of charges. Good.
