STOCKTON DOING ITS PART

By Bob Walsh

Stockton protests stretch into second day after surprise ICE weekend check-ins

There are more than a few denizens of Stockton who have immigration issues.  A fair number of them are allowed to stay at home during processing.  In an unusual move about 50 of them we called into the Stockton ICE facility this weekend for an update of some sort.  Twenty-five of them didn't leave, at least not to their homes.  These included at least one pregnant woman.  Apparently deporting criminals who are pregnant is considered especially heinous by the nutters from the Bay Area who were out today picketing at the Stockton facility.

I don't know what happened to the 25.  ICE isn't saying.  I suppose Soylent Green is a possibility, but I sort of doubt it.  More likely they are about to be shipped to some Mexican shit hole.  I wonder if getting knocked up in the USA is enough to give you an anchor baby?  I doubt it.  I think you have to actually hatch the critter on U S soil.

Strange but my sympathy is limited.  I guess that I am just an evil person.  Stockton has a very nice and very underutilized airport.  Good place to ship people out of.

ADDENDUM: It was announced on KFBK radio this morning that the Stockton ICE office has been closed down until further notice.  No further info given.

Also previously known as Tuleburg and Mudville. There is some reason to believe that Casey At The Bat was written about the Stockton baseball team. Also, as an interesting aside, one of the very earliest well-documented close encounters with extra-terrestrials occurred between Stockton and Lodi in the late 19th century.
