The ‘Barefoot Bandit’ was caught today by the police in the Bahamas. True to his nickname, Colton Harris-Moore was barefoot when he was captured after he stole a boat and led the pursuing police on a high speed chase which ended only after the boat’s two outboard motors had been shot out by the cops.
His arrest brings an end to his two-year crime spree during which he is believed to have committed over 100 burglaries and thefts in eight states and which ended some 3,000 miles from where it began.
The saga of the Barefoot Bandit will end the day Harris-Moore enters either a state or federal prison.

And his momma is so proud. I do hope he writes that book, cuz the proceeds can go to the victims of his many crimes. (My guess is that neither him or his momma have any assets).
