Of course, the guns could have been stolen by a thieving Transportation Security Administration screener.

Four Glock handguns belonging to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's security officers were lost en route to his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama in Washington, NBC News reported Wednesday.
According to the report, one of the suitcases belonging to the official Israeli delegation was mistakenly transferred by American Airlines from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York to LAX in Los Angeles.
The bag, which was sent via checked luggage as protocol requires, was eventually found - however, four of the handguns in it were missing.
Port Authority police in New York are currently investigating whether the weapons went missing before or after the suitcase was transferred to LAX, NBC reported.
One source told NBC that the suitcase was inspected and cleared for shipment by Transportation Security Administration screeners who put a seal over the bag at Kennedy Airport.
A spokesman for the Israeli Consulate referred all calls about the lost bag and the missing handguns to American Airlines.
