A group of about 25 angry assholes chained themselves across the west-bound lanes of the Bay Bridge yesterday, effectively closing down traffic into SF for a half hour and creating a mess for about 2 ½ hours.
The fairly well-organized assholes drove to the bridge in five cars, one in each lane, and stopped. They then ran a chain through the cars and around some of the people effectively stopping traffic.
The group calls itself Black Seed. It is a spinoff of the Black Lives Matter mob and the Black Queer Liberation Collective.
The group wants the immediate dismissal of the SF and Oakland PD police chiefs, and end to city funding of the police department and more money for affordable housing for people of color in SF and Oakland. Of course those cities, especially Oakland, are only barely livable now. With zero police department they would be complete shitholes so the affordable housing might be a moot point, but what the hell. They got to pee in the soup and that’s what they wanted. The question now is will they be effectively prosecuted? My guess is NO.
