Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown, governor of the formerly great state of California, had the good sense to veto a bill that would have rolled the start time for most secondary and high school in the state BACK. I guess he had the strange idea that local school boards are more qualified than state legislators to determine when school should start and stop in their districts.
Miracles do happen.
