IF THE SENATE DECIDES JUDGE KAVANAUGH IS UNFIT TO SERVE ON THE SUPREME COURT, IS HE NOT ALSO UNFIT TO SIT ON THE APPELLATE COURT?

Judge Kavanaugh currently sits on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit

It looks as though the scarlet letter held back by Sen. Feinstein until the last minute may torpedo the Kavanaugh nomination. If a majority of the Senate votes against his confirmation it means that Judge Kavanaugh is unfit to serve on the Supreme Court.

If Kavanaugh is unfit to be on the Supreme Court, what about his seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit? Surely if he is unfit for the Supreme Court, he also has to be unfit to keep his judgeship with the Appeals Court. That calla for Judge Kavabaugh’s impeachment!

Of course Kavenaugh is eminently qualified and fit to sit on the Supreme Court. The scarlet letter represents the worst kind of character assassination, even if the attempted rape actually occurred some three decades ago.

Here is an excerpt from Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal editorial:

“This is simply too distant and uncorroborated a story to warrant a new hearing or to delay a vote. We've heard from all three principals, and there are no other witnesses to call. Democrats will use Monday's hearing as a political spectacle to coax Mr. Kavanaugh into looking defensive or angry, and to portray Republicans as anti-women. Odds are it will be a circus.”

Something that may have occurred more than thirty years ago when he was a 17-year-okd high school student must be seen in the context of his impeccable adult life. But that does not concern the Democrats who will stop at nothing to keep an additional conservative justice off the Supreme Court.

The Democrats are going for the jugular vein and what is outrageous is that some Republicans may join them. Shame, shame on any Senator who will vote against the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination for the Supreme Court!
